The Outlet opens at 9am. I arrive at a few minutes after to an already busy store. People must have been waiting in line outside. When I walked in there was a man purchasing a cart full of books. (look closely at the clock - 9:06 a.m. and people are already checking out.)
Merchandise galore and people loading their carts. Snagging a cart was a perk.
I had to wait for someone to finish their purchase before I could get
one and my timing was just right - my basket was already overflowing.
Cute holiday dishware set. 3 pc setting for $1.50. There were 2 boxes.
1 of 2 boxes of crochet materials. Each box, $1.50.
A box of Oneida dishware, a few place settings, $4.50.
Very busy.
Hand painted children's stool, never assembled, $1.00.
A fun country style basket, in great condition, for $3.00
Buyer beware. Looks like a great deal for $3.00,
but when you check the contents, it is missing the net.
My purchases - 1 of 3 pics. The crafts/holiday loot.
In the mix - a 3D drawing pad complete with the 3D glasses.
My purchases - 2 of 3 pics. Toys/books loot. The inflatable zebra was a complete surprise. It was sealed and I assumed it was a inflatable Halloween skeleton. What fun to find a zebra! Surprisingly, the Peter Rabbit audio book actually worked. Not sure about the DVDs but for $.50 - why not? The raggedy box of numbered items are tiny board books, all for $.50. Oh, and the play lion figure roars. Good stuff!
My purchases - 3 of 3 pics. The kids clothing loot.
All name brand, all $.50 a piece. Some for resale, some for the boys.
Best items - Tommy Hilfiger overalls and Children's Place fleece hoodie.

DeleteGreat finds. I could only dream of a Goodwill moving sale :) Hopefully the crowd was not too pushy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking out my blog. A moving sale is a unique occurrence, one I couldn't pass up. The crowd was polite, so that helped.

ReplyDeleteAw man, I missed it! I have an email from Goodwill about their upcoming sales, but I haven't read it yet. I better get cracking or I'll miss something else!
ReplyDeleteBarb, I wouldn't have known about it either, but luckily someone had posted about it on Goodwill's Facebook page. Now, the new outlet has a different pricing method - by weight. Should be interesting.
